Filipino actor Menggie Cobarrubias dies amid COVID-19 pandemic

Domingo "Menggie" Cobarrubias, a 68-year-old Filipino actor, died of cardiac arrest on March 26, 2020, amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Hospitalized for pneumonia after a fever, he was tested for the virus, but results were pending. Cobarrubias starred in numerous films and TV shows, earning awards for his performances throughout his career.
