Filipino-Canadian student Chris Mills organizes book donations to Philippine public schools
Chris Mills, a Filipino-Canadian student, aimed to provide high-quality textbooks to public schools in the Philippines after being inspired by their availability in Canada. With support from professor Russell Turner and a dedicated community, they collected and shipped over 1,700 books, valued at 8 million pesos, to Bulacan State University. Mills plans to expand his initiative further.
