Rafael Nadal, born in Manacor, Mallorca, is the son of entrepreneur Sebastián Nadal and Ana María Parera. He began his professional tennis career in 2001, achieving notable victories including five French Open titles and wins at Wimbledon and the Australian Open. The 2010 French Open saw him defeat Robin Söderling.
