El Paso, Texas’s Victor Hugo Escobedo accused of kidnapping woman, toddler
Victor Hugo Escobedo, 52, was arrested for allegedly kidnapping a woman and her 2-year-old daughter at gunpoint from a mall parking lot in El Paso, Texas. He forced the woman to withdraw money from a bank and then robbed her, fleeing with the cash and her phone. Escobedo faces charges of aggravated robbery and kidnapping.

Oluseun Martins Omole, also known as Seun Omole, a 58-year-old Nigerian residing in Sugar Land, Texas, participated in a criminal enterprise from February 2018 to March 2023. He received and shipped over $16 million in fraudulently obtained consumer electronics. Omole pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and was later sentenced to 10 years in prison.
