Borsalino, Italy's oldest luxury hat manufacturer, celebrated its 160th anniversary in 2017. Founded by artisan Giuseppe Borsalino in 1857, the company began in Alessandria and expanded over the years. Borsalino's life included apprenticeships in Italy and Paris, eventually leading to significant contributions in the hat-making industry until his death in 1900.
