Vientiane, Laos’s Christina Lasasimma to compete at Miss Universe 2020 in Hollywood, Florida
Christina Lasasimma, 27, will represent Laos in Miss Universe 2020, becoming the country's fourth contestant. Officially named on March 18, 2021, she aims to be the first Laotian to win or reach the quarterfinals. Previously crowned Miss Laos 2012, she also serves as a Goodwill Ambassador for agriculture in Laos.

Vientiane’s Nelamith Soumounthong represents Laos at Miss World 2019 in London
Nelamith Soumounthong, a 20-year-old from Vientiane, Laos, graduated from Nguyen Du High School and represented Laos in Miss World 2019. She was unplaced among 110 candidates. Alongside her studies in mathematics and business administration, she engages in volunteer work and has participated in several beauty pageants, ultimately winning Miss World Laos 2019.
