Born and raised in Dallas, Armendarez is Alicia Armendarez‘s brother. Their mother is Spanish-American while their father Robert Monteon Armendarez is Italian-American. Robert was born in Dallas to Lauro Armendarez and Carmen Monteon.
Also known as Alfonse Armendarez and Fonz Armendarez, Albert and his first wife Maria Evangelina Lazo, also known as Maria Evangelina Armendarez Barrientos, have four children together namely Cynthia Armendarez, Mario Albert Armendarez, Esmeralda Armendarez and Robert Armendarez. Cynthia married Freddie Gradias and Mario married Evelyn Lee Villalpando.
Albert graduated from Crozier Tech High School in Dallas. As a senior computer programmer, he had a successful career working for some of the most leading edge companies in the technical industry.
