Abby Williams, Libby German’s bodies found in Delphi, Indiana; Who is Kegan Kline?

Best friends Abigail Joyce “Abby” Williams and Liberty Rose Lynn “Libby” German of Indiana, United States have died. Williams was 13 while German was 14.

Williams is Anna M. Williams‘ daughter. German is Derrick German and Carrie German Timmons‘ daughter and Kelsi German‘s younger sister.


At 1:35 p.m. on February 13, 2017, Kelsi dropped of Abby and Libby on County Road 300 North in Delphi, Carroll County, Indiana. Abby and Libby hiked on the Monon High Bridge over Deer Creek in Delphi.

At 2:07 p.m., Libby posted a photo of Abby walking the bridge. They were supposed to meet Derrick at 3:15 p.m. but they were nowhere to be found.


Abby and Libby’s families searched for them before reporting them missing at 5:30 p.m. At 12:00 p.m. on February 14, 2017, search teams found the two girls’ bodies about a half-mile away from the Monon High Bridge.

Built in 1891, the Monon High Bridge carried trains high above Deer Creek. The bridge has been used as a walking trail since CSX abandoned it in 1987.

At 8:00 a.m. on February 15, 2017, autopsies were conducted in Terre Haute, Vigo County, Indiana. At 3:00 p.m., police confirmed that the two bodies belonged to Abby and Libby and announced that the case is being investigated as a double homicide.


On February 25, 2017, investigators from the Indiana State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation executed a search warrant linked to an account named anthony_shots. It led them to Kegan Kline, 22, of Peru, Miami County, Indiana.

Using a white iPhone 5c, Kline communicated with an underage girl, the investigators learned. He has yet to be named a suspect in the deaths of Abby and Libby.
