Jeffrey Blitz was born in Ridgewood, New Jersey, USA to an American father and an Argentine mother. Blitz is Andy Blitz and Marc Blitz‘s brother.
Jeffrey wrote and directed “Table 19”, which is based on a story written by Jay Duplass and Mark Duplass. The film was produced by Mark Roberts, P. Jennifer Dana, Shawn Levy and Tom McNulty.
“Table 19” is about Eloise McGarry who dated Teddy Millner, who are played by Anna Kendrick and Wyatt Russell, respectively. Rya Meyers plays Francie Millner, who is Teddy’s sister and Eloise’s friend.
After being together for two years, Teddy breaks up with Eloise by text. She attends Francie’s wedding but drops out as the maid of honor as Teddy serves as the best man.
Seated at Table 19, Eloise considers leaving the wedding reception but she decides to stay after receiving an unsolicited advice from another guest named Huck, who is played by Thomas Cocquerel. June Squibb plays Teddy and Francie’s childhood nanny Jo Flanagan, who is also one of the wedding guests.
