Mister Ocean 2017 third runner-up Geany-Daniel Zamfir: I met many beautiful people

Representing Romania, Geany-Daniel Zamfir was one of the beautiful men who gathered in Kaohsiung, Taiwan in November for Mister Ocean 2017.  Out of the 49 candidates, he was one of the winners of the inaugural male beauty pageant.

“It was an unforgettable experience,” Zamfir said of Mister Ocean 2017 in a statement exclusively obtained by Conan Daily. He said the most beautiful remembrance he had from the contest was the opportunity to meet many beautiful people.

During the competition, Zamfir enjoyed visiting many important places that showed the culture of Taiwan. He said he was approached by many contestants, but most of the time, he was with Mister Siberia Artem Tatarčuk, Mister Mexico Fernando Kolbeckc and the Latin group.

Tatarčuk did not make it to the semi-finals while Kolbeckc was Best Catwalk first runner-up and finished as a semi-finalist. On the other hand, Zamfir received the Best Body first runner-up award and was named Mister Ocean 2017 third runner-up.

It was Mister Bosnia and Herzegovina Ermin Poturak who was named the first ever Mister Ocean. Mister Montenegro Marko Rogac, Mister Japan Ryo Arizumi and Mister Peru Ronald Freddy Mayorga Peixoto were first runner-up, second runner-up and fourth runner-up, respectively.

Winning in an international competition like Mister Ocean 2017 made Zamfir very happy. The dancer and professional model from Romania thanked Mister Ocean President Christine Huang and everyone who organized the competition.

Originally from Brasso, Brasov, Zamfir is currently living in Bucharest, the capital city of Romania. He studied Economics at the Faculty of Economics in Bucharest in Fara Frecventa La Distanta Prin Corespondenta.
