For the third time, Radeem Rahman, 30, of Singapore won inside the ONE Championship cage. He earned his third victory in the promotion on May 12, 2018 after defeating a formerly undefeated opponent.

Rahman faced Tang De Pan, 25, of China at “ONE: Grit and Glory” at the Jakarta Convention Center in Jakarta, Indonesia. They competed in the bantamweight division, which is currently dominated by ONE Bantamweight World Champion Bibiano Fernandes of Brazil.

Referee Yuji Shimada put a stop to the bantamweight bout between Rahman and Tang at 1:19 of Round 1. The Singaporean contender submitted his Chinese opponent via rear-naked choke.

On September 3, 2011, Rahman knocked out Susovan Ghosh via punches at “ONE: Champion vs. Champion.” It marked Rahman’s promotional debut.

From 2012 to 2013, Rahman went on hiatus. He returned to the ONE Championship cage on May 30, 2014 at “ONE: Honor and Glory” where he knocked out Raymond Tan via elbows and punches.

When Rahman competed in the ONE Championship cage for the third time, he had his first professional mixed martial arts loss. He lost to Ming Yen Sung via unanimous decision at “ONE: Rise of the Kingdom.”

From 2015 to 2017, Rahman went on another hiatus. “ONE: Grit and Glory” marked his return and fourth bout in ONE Championship.

After defeating Tang, Rahman now has 3 wins and 1 loss. On the other hand, Tang’s record downgraded to 2 wins and 1 loss.

In the co-main event of “ONE: Grit and Glory,” Stefer Rahardian of Indonesia competed against Himanshu Kaushik of India in the strawweight division.

In the main event of the evening, reigning ONE Strawweight World Champion Alex Silva of Brazil defended his title from former champion Yoshitaka Naito of Japan in a rematch.
