ONE Super Series: Alain Ngalani vs Tarik Khbabez at ‘ONE: Pinnacle of Power’ in Macau

ONE Championship will be at the Studio City Event Center in Macau, China on June 23, 2018 for “ONE: Pinnacle of Power.” Like the previous events of the promotion in 2018, the fight card will feature both mixed martial arts bouts and strikes-only matches under the new league called ONE Super Series.

There will be two bouts on the ONE Super Series card. The first one will be a kickboxing match between heavyweight kickboxers Alain “The Panther” Ngalani, 42, and Tarik Khbabez, 26.

Originally from Cameroon, Ngalani is fighting out of Hong Kong. As an MMA fighter, he has 4 wins, 4 losses and 1 No Contest and is competing in the heavyweight division of ONE Championship.

As a professional kickboxer, Ngalani has 25 wins, 7 losses, 1 draw and 2 No Contests. “ONE: Pinnacle of Power” marks his return as a kickboxer after almost seven years.

Ngalani’s two most recent kickboxing bouts ended in a no contest. These were against Ramazan Ramazanov of Russia at “Planet Batle VI” on June 11, 2010 and Dzevad Poturak of Bosnia and Herzegovina at “Elite Kickboxing” on July 30, 2011.

The no contest verdict of the bout between Ngalani and Ramanazov was due to ring invasion. The one between Ngalani and Poturak was due to punch after knockdown.

Training out of Impakt MMA in Hong Kong, Ngalani is ready to get back to his martial arts roots. Always looking to end matches early, he is known for his terrifying combination of power and speed.

On the other hand, Khbabez is training out of Arj Trainingen gym in Den Haag, Netherlands and currently holds a professional kickboxing record of 45 wins, 5 losses and 1 draw. He was a two-time Heavyweight Superkombat World Champion.

Khbabez was born in Morocco but is fighting out of Amsterdam, Netherlands. “ONE: Pinnacle of Power” marks the Moroccon-Dutch kickboxer’s ONE Championship debut.

Headlining “ONE: Pinnacle of Power” are reigning ONE Women’s Strawweight World Champion “The Panda” Xiong Jing Nan of China and Laura “La Gladiadora” Balin of Argentina. In the co-main event, reigning ONE Flyweight World Champion Adriano “Mikinho” Moraes of Brazil and ONE Interim Flyweight World Champion Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio of the Philippines.
