Representing the famed Team Lakay of Baguio City, Philippines, Stephen “The Sniper” Loman, 23, is still the reigning Brave Combat Federation Bantamweight Champion. The Igorot mixed martial arts fighter successfully defended his title at “Brave 13: Europe Evolution” at the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland on June 9, 2018.

Marking the first event of Brave CF in Europe, “Brave 13: Europe Evolution” was headlined by Loman and Frans “The Black Mamba” Mlambo, 27, who is representing Straight Blast Gym (SBG) Ireland of Dublin, Ireland. It was a rematch almost two years after the Filipino fighter defeated the Irish contender during the inaugural event of the Bahrain-based MMA promotion.

The bout between Loman and Mlambo at “Brave 13: Europe Evolution” was left in the hands of the judges after five five-minute rounds. The verdict was a unanimous decision victory in favor of the reigning Brave CF Bantamweight Champion.

After defeating Mlambo for the second time, Loman improved his professional MMA record to 10 wins and 2 losses. It was the Igorot warrior’s third win in Brave CF and he remains undefeated in the promotion.

On the other hand, Mlambo now has 5 wins and 3 losses. Loman is the only opponent he failed to defeat in the Brave CF cage.

“Brave 13: Europe Evolution” featured 12 bouts in total. It was graced by several celebrity athletes including former Bellator MMA fighter Bubba Jenkins, 30, British professional boxer Amir Khan, 31, English MMA fighter Darren “The Gorilla” Till, 25, who competes in the welterweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship and former UFC Lightweight Champion Conor “Notorious” McGregor, 29, who also trains at SBG Ireland.

McGregor was on Mlambo’s corner while Till was on the corner of Erick Carlos “Indio Brabo” Silva, 29, of Brazil, who defeated Erik “The Last Viking” Carlsson, 25, of Sweden in the lightweight division. On Loman’s corner was his fellow Team Lakay fighter Honorio “The Rock” Banario, 28, a former ONE Featherweight World Champion.

After the preliminary card, Irish singer-songwriter Jack “Jack L” Lukeman, 45, took to the stage to perform for the crowd at the SSE Arena. Meanwhile, here is a clip showing Filipino fans supporting Loman at the venue:
