Brave Combat Federation has released the full fight video of the co-main event of “Brave 12: KHK Legacy.” It was a welterweight bout between Tahar “Fast Hands” Hadbi, 30, of Algeria and Jarrah “The Jordanian Lion” Al-Selawe, 26, of Jordan.
“Brave 12: KHK Legacy” took place at the Balai Sarbini in Jakarta, Indonesia on May 11, 2018. The co-main event showcased an intense standup performance between the two welterweight warriors.
The bout marked the fifth outing of Al-Selawe in Brave CF. On the other hand, it was Hadbi’s return to the promotion after his much talked victory against Mohammad “The Latest” Fakhreddine, 34, of Lebanon.
By defeating Hadbi at “Brave 12: KHK Legacy,” Al-Selawe improved his professional mixed martial arts record to 11 wins and 2 losses. He is now riding a seven-bout winning streak.
On the other hand, the loss to Al-Selawe downgraded Hadbi’s record to 14 wins, 7 losses and 2 No Contests. Before facing Al-Selawe, Hadbi defeated Fakhreddine via technical knockout via punches at “Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises” at the King Hussein Sports City in Amman, Jordan.
The first two rounds of the “Brave 12: KHK Legacy” co-main event ensured intense striking game between the two fighters. In all the three rounds, Hadbi defended every takedown attempt by Al-Selawe, proving superiority over the grappling department.
However, in the third round, Al-Selawe gained complete domination over Hadbi to emerge victorious by unanimous decision. A debate ensured soon after the Algerian contender revealed that he had broken his left arm in the first round so he missed his opportunity to perform well.
In response, Al-Selawe released a statement claiming that the hand was broken in the third round and he exactly knows when it broke. The heated debate was soon joined by the Jordanian fighter’s coaches, Fakhreddine, as well as other mixed martial artists and coaches and the media in the Middle East.
This prompted Brave CF to release the complete fight footage of the welterweight bout between Al-Selawe and Hadbi at “Brave 12: KHK Legacy.” Watch it here:
