Rohit Khandelwal represented India at Mister World 2016 and competed against 45 other candidates at the Southport Theatre and Convention Centre in Southport, England, United Kingdom on July 19, 2016. He won the title.

Runner-up to Khandelwal was Fernando Alberto Alvarez. The second runner-up was Aldo Esparza Ramirez of Mexico.

Mister World 2019 contestants

On August 23, 2019, Khandelwal will crown his successor at Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is the 10th edition of the international male beauty pageant founded by Eric Morley.
