Three-time International Boxing Organization world champion Paulus “The Rock” Ambunda, 38, of Namibia has joined Ringstar Boxing’s roster of boxers. This was officially announced by the company’s founder and CEO Scott Patrick Farrell.
“I am happy to sign with Ringstar management,” Ambunda stated. “And I look forward to my upcoming fights, under the Ringstar banner.”
On September 29, 2018, Ambunda defeated reigning IBO Intercontinental Featherweight Champion Muhamad “The Chosen Wan” Ridhwan, 30, of Singapore for the IBO World Super Bantamweight title at “Roar of Singapore V: The Kings of Lion City” at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. This improved the professional boxing record of the Namibian boxer to 27 wins and 2 losses.
