Jessica Sanchez, Christian Bautista’s ‘Another Silent Christmas Song’ to be released on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer, Amazon

Universal Records is excited to announce a collaboration song by two outstanding Filipino singers and award-winning composers and producers. A new holiday single titled “Another Silent Christmas Song” by Jessica Sanchez, 23, and Christian Bautista, 37, it will be released on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer, and Amazon on November 2, 2018.

Written by Bryan Todd and Steven Sater, “Another Silent Christmas Song” will be the second collaboration between Sanchez and Bautista. They first collaborated on the song “Two Forevers,” from the album of the latter called “Kapit.”

Todd is a record producer and a songwriter. Sater is a poet with multiple awards from Tony, Grammy and Olivier.

Both Sanchez and Bautista are products of reality talent competition shows. The former, who is of Mexican and Filipino descent, was 11 years old when she competed in “America’s Got Talent” Season 1 where she made it as a wild card choice of Brandy Rayana Norwood, 39, who is mononymously known sa Brandy.

Six years later, Sanchez competed in “American Idol” Season 11. She was runner-up to Phillip Phillips, 28.

On the other hand, Bautista, who is of Filipino and British descent, competed in “Star in a Million” Season 1 in 2003. He finished fourth.

In 2018, Bautista was one of the judges of the reality talent competition show “The Clash,” which was hosted by Regine Velasquez. His fellow judges were Lani Misalucha and Ai-Ai de las Alas.

“Another Silent Christmas Song” is a solemn yet powerful Christmas song showcases the vocal abilities both Sanchez and Bautista are known for. Meanwhile, here is a video of the latter singing live at the Sinag Maynila Film Festival 2018 awards night:
