Featuring 13 mixed martial arts matches, “UFC Fight Night 138” took place at the Avenir Centre in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada on October 27, 2018. In the fourth bout of the evening, Sarah “Cheesecake” Moras of Las Vegas, Nevada, United States faced Talita Bernardo of Barra de Sao Joao, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Blue Corner

Moras was originally from Sechelt, British Columbia Canada. “UFC Fight Night 138” marked her fifth UFC bout.

Red Corner

Bernardo was one of the two fighers who represented Brazil at “UFC Fight Night 138.” She was originally from Macae, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Fight Results 

Moras and Bernardo competed in the women’s bantamweight division at “UFC Fight Night 138.” Currently reigning as the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion is Amanda Nunes.

After three five-minute rounds, the women’s bantamweight bout between Moras and Bernardo was left in the hands of the judges. In the end, referee Eric Nevitt raised the hand of the Brazilian contender, who was declared the winner via unanimous decision.

Winning at “UFC Fight Night 138” improved Bernardo’s record to 6 wins and 3 losses. On the other hand, losing to the Brazilian fighter downgraded Moras’s record to 5 wins and 4 losses.

“UFC Fight Night 138” Main Events

In the co-main event, Michael “The Menace” Johnson of Boca Raton, Florida, United States and Artem “The Russian Hammer” Lobov of Dublin, Ireland competed in a catch weight of 147 lbs. After three five-minute rounds, the American contender defeated his Russian-Irish opponent via unanimous decision.

In the main event, Volkan “No Time” Oezdemir of Fribourg, Switzerland and Anthony “Lionheart” Smith of Omaha, Nebraska, United States competed in the light heavyweight division. The American contender submitted his Swiss opponent via rear-naked choke at 4:26 of Round 3.
