Featuring 13 mixed martial arts matches, “UFC Fight Night 138” took place at the Avenir Centre in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada on October 27, 2018. In the fifth bout of the evening, Calvin “The Boston Finisher” Kattar, 30, of Methuen, Massachusetts, United States faced Chris Fishgold, 26, of Liverpool, Merseyside, England.

Blue Corner

Kattar trains out of Team Sityodtong, an MMA training camp based out of Somerville, Massachusetts, United States. “UFC Fight Night 138” marked his fourth UFC bout.

Red Corner

Fishgold made his UFC debut at “UFC Fight Night 138.” He formerly competed in Cage Warriors Fighting Championship.

Fight Results

Kattar and Fishgold competed in the featherweight division. Currently reigning as the UFC Featherweight Champion is Max Holloway.

Referee Yves Lavigne put a stop to the featherweight bout between Kattar and Fishgold at 4:11 of Round 1. The American fighter knocked out his English opponent via punches.

Winning at “UFC Fight Night 138” improved Kattar’s professional MMA record to 19 wins and 3 losses. On the other hand, losing to the American fighter dowgraded Fishgold’s record to 17 wins and 2 losses.

“UFC Fight Night 138” Main Events

In the co-main event, Michael “The Menace” Johnson of Boca Raton, Florida, United States and Artem “The Russian Hammer” Lobov of Dublin, Ireland competed in a catch weight of 147 lbs. After three five-minute rounds, the American contender defeated his Russian-Irish opponent via unanimous decision.

In the main event, Volkan “No Time” Oezdemir of Fribourg, Switzerland and Anthony “Lionheart” Smith of Omaha, Nebraska, United States competed in the light heavyweight division. The American contender submitted his Swiss opponent via rear-naked choke at 4:26 of Round 3.
