Rita Ora, 27, will release her new album “Phoenix” through Atlantic Records on November 23, 2018. It will be the second studio album of the English singer and actress.
“Phoenix” will have 12 tracks. Its lead single “Your Song” was released on May 26, 2017.
Five of the 12 songs in “Phoenix” are collaboration songs. One of these is “Lonely Together,” a joint single of Ora and the late Swedish musician and record producer Tim Bergling, who was professionally known as Avicii.
Released on August 11, 2017, “Lonely Together” was from “Avīci (01),” the fourth extended play of Avicii. At the age of 28, the Swedish musician committed suicide in Muscat, Oman on April 20, 2018 and was buried on June 8, 2018 in his birthplace Stockholm, Sweden.
Ora was the last collaborator of Avicii. The former paid tribute to the latter during King’s Day and Capital’s Summertime Ball.
On March 10, 2019, Ora will perform at the New Frontier Theater, which was formerly called KIA Theatre, in the Araneta Center in Cubao, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. It will be her first performance in the country.
Presented by Wilbros Live, the upcoming performance in the Philippines is titled “Rita Ora- Live in Manila.” It is part of Ora’s “Phoenix World Tour,” which is in support for her second studio album.
“Phoenix World Tour” will start in Australia before going to Asia and finally Europe. After performing in Manila, Ora will be at the Crystal Arena in Bangkok, Thailand on March 14, 2019, at the Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo, Japan on March 14, 2019, at the Zepp Namba in Osaka, Japan on March 15, 2019 and at the Legacy Taipei in Taipei, Taiwan on March 16, 2019.
As an actress, Ora was last seen on the big screen when she reprised her role as Mia Grey in “Fifty Shades Freed.” She first played the role in “Fifty Shades Darker.”
One of the collaboration songs in “Phoenix” is titled “For You,” which was recorded by Ora and Liam Payne, 25, for the soundtrack to “Fifty Shades Freed.” The latter is a member of the English-Irish pop quartet One Direction.
