‘Lady Gaga Enigma’ kicks off in Las Vegas with ‘Shallow’ and 20 other songs

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, 32, who is professionally known as Lady Gaga, started her concert residency titled “Lady Gaga Enigma” at the Park Theater of Park MGM in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. Here are the 21 songs included in her set list in her two-hour set:

4. “Dance in the Dark”
5. “Beautiful, Dirty, Rich”
6. “The Fame”

8. “Applause”

14. “I’m Afraid of Americans” (David Bowie cover)
15. “The Edge of Glory”

17. “Million Reasons”
18. “You and I”
19. “Bad Romance”
20. “Born This Way”
21. “Shallow”

“Shallow” is the first single from the soundtrack of the film “A Star is Born,” which starred Gaga opposite Bradley Cooper. She co-wrote the song with Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando, and Andrew Wyatt and co-produced it with Benjamin Rice.

Recently, Gaga was interviewed by Lin-Manuel Miranda in “Variety’s Actors on Actors.” In the episode, she talked about how much she loves “Shallow.”

“This is a conversation between a man and a woman and he actually listens to her and I think we live in a time when this is something that’s really important to women,” Gaga explained. “Women want to be heard.”

“Lady Gaga Enigma” started almost three months after the release of “A Star is Born,” which Cooper directed and co-wrote with Eric Roth and Will Fetters. Among Gaga and Cooper’s co-stars were Sam Elliott, Dave Chappelle, Andrew Dice Clay, Anthony Ramos, Michael Harney, Rafi Gavron, Rebecca Field, Shangela Laquifa Wadley, Willam Belli, Greg Grunberg, Ron Rifkin, Eddie Griffin and Luenell Campbell.

Officially announced on August 7, 2018, the “Lady Gaga Enigma” concert residency will culminate on November 9, 2019. Right before Gaga appeared onstage for her first performance, she took to Twitter to express her excitement.
