Fighting out of Spokane, Washington, United States, Michael “Maverick” Chiesa has earned his eighth victory in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He was one of the winners at “UFC 232,” the final event of the promotion for 2018.

Featuring 13 mixed martial arts bouts, “UFC 232” took place at The Forum, Inglewood, California, United States on December 29, 2018. In the 11th bout of the evening, he faced Carlos “The Natural Born Killer” Condit of Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA in the welterweight division.

Referee Mike Beltran put a stop to the welterweight bout between Chiesa and Condit after 56 seconds in the second round. The fighter from Spokane submitted his opponent from Albuquerque via kimura.

Losing to Chiesa downgraded Condit’s professional MMA record to 30 wins and 13 losses. Training out of Jackson Wink MMA in Albuquerque, the latter is now riding a five-bout losing streak.
