Harold “The Artist” Banario, 24, of Mankayan, Benguet, Philippines is finally set for his Brave Combat Federation debut. Training out of Team Lakay in La Trinidad, Benguet, he will fight at home as he takes on Gamzat Magomedov, 23, of St. Petersburg, Russia at “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors,” the first Brave CF event to take place in the Philippines.
Banario is the younger brother of ONE Championship athlete Honorio “The Rock” Banario, 29. Harold and Magomedov will compete in the bantamweight division at “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors,” which will take place on March 15, 2019 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
Harold was supposed to make his Brave CF debut at “Brave 20: India” at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad, India on December 22, 2018. However, he was forced off his scheduled bout against Angad Bisht, 20, of Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand, India and was rescheduled against Magomedov.
“Brave 22: Storm of Warriors” marks Harold’s return to the cage. Holding a professional MMA record of 4 wins and 1 loss, he has not competed in over three years and now hopes to join his Team Lakay teammates Stephen “The Sniper” Loman, 23, and Jeremy “The Juggernaut” Pacatiw, 22, in the Brave CF roster.
On the other hand, Magomedov has 3 wins and 1 loss. A former International Mixed Martial Arts Federation amateur gold medalist, he made his Brave CF debut on October 27, 2018 at “Brave 17” where he ended up disqualified after a low blow during his fight against J.P. Buys, 22, Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.
Training out of KHK MMA, Magomedov looks to get back to winning ways against Harold and hopes for his first victory under the Brave CF banner at “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors.” In the main event, Loman will defend his Brave CF Bantamweight Championship title from former Brave CF Featherweight Champion Elias “Smile” Boudegzdame, 25, of France
