Training out of Team Lakay in La Trinidad, Benguet, Philippines, Jeremy “The Juggernaut” Pacatiw, 22, will be one of the hometown heroes competing at “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors.” He will face his fellow Filipino mixed martial artist Mark “The Ruthless” Alcoba.
Taking place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on March 15, 2019, “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors” marks the Philippine debut of Brave CF. One of the undercard bouts is a bantamweight contest between Pacatiw and Alcoba.
With a professional MMA record of 5 wins and 1 loss, Alcoba will make his Brave CF debut at “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors.” He is riding a four-bout winning streak.
On the other hand, Pacatiw is coming out of two consecutive wins in Brave CF. He currently has 8 wins and 3 losses.
Pacatiw has been competing professionally since 2015. When he made his Brave CF debut at “Brave 2: Dynasty” at the Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town, Bahrain on December 2, 2016, he lost to Hamza Kooheji, 26, of Bahrain via unanimous decision.
On April 23, 2017, Pacatiw earned his first Brave CF win by defeating Chaitanya “Dangerous” Gavali, 30, of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India via split decision at “Brave 5: Go for Glory” at the Sardar Vallabhbhai at the Patel Indoor Stadium in Mumbai. The Filipino fighter earned yet another victory in the Bahrain-based MMA promotion on August 12, 2017 by knocking out Thiago dela Coleta, 22, of Curitiba, Parana, Brazil via punch to the body at “Brave 8: The Rise of Champions” in Taruma, Curitiba.
What followed were two losses then two wins for Pacatiw. He lost to Jalal Al Daaja, 32, of Jordan via knockout at “Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions” at the Khalifa Sports City Arena on November 17, 2017 then to Kaan “Genghis” Ofli, 25, of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia via unanimous decision at “Brave 12: KHK Legacy” in Jakarta, Indonesia on May 11, 2018.
On August 18, 2018, Pacatiw defeated Keith “Killa” Lee, 21, of Las Vegas, Nevada, United States via split decision at “Brave 14” at the Omnisports Indoor Club in Tangier, Morocco. On October 27, 2018, the Team Lakay fighter defeated Uloomi “Kratos” Karim, 27, of Pakistan via unanimous decision at “Brave 17” at the Nistar Sports Complex in Lahore, Pakistan.
Currently, Pacatiw and Frans “The Black Mamba” Mlambo, 27, of Dublin, Ireland are the fighters with the most Brave CF bouts with seven fights in the promotion. “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors” marks the Team Lakay fighter’s eighth bout in the promotion.
