Team Lakay’s Jomar Pa-ac earns 3rd Brave CF win at ‘Brave 22: Storm of Warriors’

Training out of Team Lakay in Baguio City, Philippines, Jomar Pa-ac, 21, was one of the winners at “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors.” It was his third victory in Bahrain-based mixed martial arts promotion Brave Combat Federation.

Featuring nine MMA bouts, “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors” took place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on March 15, 2019. In the first bout of the evening, Pa-ac faced Satya Behuria, 23, of Kendraparha, Orissa, India in the flyweight division.

From the first round to the third one, it was Pa-ac who remained dominant. After three five-minute rounds, the flyweight contest was left in the hands of the judges.

In the end, referee Tomasz Bronder raised the hand of Pa-ac. All the three judges unanimously scored the bout 30-27 in favor of the Team Lakay fighter.

Winning at “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors” improved Pa-ac’s professional MMA record to 6 wins and 2 losses. On the other hand, Behuria now has 1 win and 2 losses.

It was a redemptive win for Pa-ac. Before “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors,” he was knocked out by Hussain “Iron” Ayyad, 25, of Bahrain at “Brave 12: KHK Legacy” at Balai Sarbini in Jakarta, Indonesia on May 11, 2018.

On December 2, 2016, Pa-ac made his Brave CF debut at “Brave 2: Dynasty” at the Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town, Bahrain. He defeated Haider “The Giant” Farman, 23, of Pakistan via unanimous decision.

Pa-ac earned his second Brave CF win on March 31, 2017. He defeated Atif “Little Hawk” Mohamed, 25, of Bahrain via split decision at “Brave 4: Unstoppable” at the IPIC Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

“Brave 22: Storm of Warriors” marked Pa-ac’s fourth bout in Brave CF. On the other hand, it was Behuria’s second outing in the promotion.

Including the Philippines and India, eight countries were represented at “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors.” The other countries represented were Bahrain, Finland, France, Ireland, New Zealand and Pakistan.
