Team Lakay’s Stephen Loman is still Brave CF Bantamweight Champion

Training out of Team Lakay in Baguio City, Philippines, Stephen “The Sniper” Loman, 23, of the Philippines is still the reigning Brave Combat Federation Bantamweight Champion. He successfully defended his belt from Elias “Smile” Boudegzdame, 25, of France in the main event of “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors.”

Featuring nine MMA bouts, “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors” took place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on March 15, 2019. The main event ended in the fourth round when Loman knocked out Boudegzdame via strikes, marking the Filipino defending champion’s third successful title defense.

“I would like to dedicate this fight to my family and teammates also to my uncle, who passed away this month,” Loman told the crowd in his post-fight interview inside the cage. “This was for him definitely.”

Winning at “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors” improved Loman’s professional MMA record to 13 wins and 2 losses. On the other hand, Boudegzdame now has 15 wins and 6 losses.

Loman has been competing professionally since 2012. He was one of the fighters who competing during Brave CF’s inaugural event on September 23, 2016 at the Khalifa Sports City Arena.

In Brave CF’s first ever event, Loman defeated Frans “The Black Mamba” Mlambo, 27, of Dublin, Ireland via unanimous decision. On November 17, 2017, the Team Lakay fighter returned to at the same venue and became the inaugural Brave CF Bantamweight Champion by knocking out Gary “Saint Lion” Mangat, 32, of Williams Lake, British Columbia, Canada at “Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions.”

On June 9, 2018, Loman successfully defended his belt by defeating Mlambo via unanimous decision in their rematch at “Brave 13: Europe Evolution” at the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland. On November 16, 2018, the Team Lakay fighter returned to the Khalifa Sports City Arena where he successfully defended his title again through a unanimous decision win against Felipe Efrain, 24, of Sao Paolo, Brazil at “Brave 18: Bahrain.”
