Brave CF founder Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa is Bahrain Olympic Committee president

His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa has been appointed as the president of the Bahrain Olympic Committee. As the founder of Brave Combat Federation, the fastest-growing mixed martial arts organization in the world, he has transformed mixed martial arts with the vision of providing athletes from all over the world with a global platform to perform to the highest of their abilities.

Thanks to His Highness’ efforts and belief in his vision, Brave CF is established as the only truly global mixed martial arts promotion, and Bahrain has become a go-to destination for MMA athletes from all parts of the globe, who aim to train at the famous KHK MMA gym, as well as fighting for Brave Combat Federation.

It is with that passion and belief in the transforming power that sports can have in the community that His Highness will lead the Bahrain Olympic Committee. The BOC’s main objective is to support, protect, develop and regulate the Olympic sports movement in the Kingdom of Bahrain under the Olympic Charter. Its mission is to create a stimulating environment to increase sports participation within the Bahraini community, as well as achieving sports excellence at a professional level.

Sheikh Khalid has been a long-time believer of the positive impact that sports can have in people’s lives as he has also launched KHK Sports, an initiative aimed at the development of all sports in the Kingdom of Bahrain and beyond.

The appointment of Sheikh Khalid as the president of the Bahrain Olympic Committee was greeted with joy from the MMA community, as fighters from all over the world congratulated His Highness for showing, once again, his commitment to the development of sports around the globe and the role that the Kingdom of Bahrain and Bahrainis can have in that.
