Training out of Bangkok Boxing Fitness in Atlanta, Georgina, United States, “Smokin” Jo Nattawut, 29, of Nakhon Ratchasima, Isan, Thailand was one of the winners at “ONE: Enter the Dragon.” It was his fourth victory in ONE Championship’s striking-only league ONE Super Series.

Featuring 10 mixed martial arts matches and six ONE Super Series contests, which were six kickboxing bouts, “ONE: Enter the Dragon” was the Singapore-based martial arts organization’s second event in 2019 that took place in Singapore. In the eighth bout of the evening, Nattawut faced Sasha Moisa, 24, of Odessa, Ukraine in the quarter-finals of the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix with Elias Dolaptsis as the referee.

Nattawut overcame a distinct size advantage as he punished Moisa with an array of kicks to the legs and to the body. In the final round, the Bangkok Boxing Fitness athlete turned up the intensity as he overwhelmed his opponent, dropping his Ukrainian opponent twice.

Dolaptsis put a stop to the kickboxing contest after 1 minute and 24 seconds in the third round. Nattawut knocked out Moisa.

Winning at “ONE: Enter the Dragon” improved the professional kickboxing and Muay Thai record of Nattawut to 70 wins, 7 losses and 2 draws. On the other hand, Moisa now has 39 wins and 8 losses.

Nattawut was one of the four representatives of Thailand at “ONE: Enter the Dragon” while Moisa solely represented Ukraine. Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, the Republic of Moldova, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand and Turkey were also represented.

Nattawut was 10 years old when he started his Muay Thai training and went on to become a two-division Lion Fight World Champion and a WMC Muay Thai World Champion. He moved to the U.S. in 2013.

“ONE: Enter the Dragon” marked Nattawut’s fifth ONE Super Series bout. After losing to Giorgio “The Doctor” Petrosyan, 32, of Italy at “ONE: Heroes of Honor” on April 20, 2018, the Thai martial artist defeated Yohann Fairtex Drai, 26, of France at “ONE: Pursuit of Power” on July 13, 2018 and George Mann, 19, of Scotland, United Kingdom at “ONE: Heart of the Lion” on November 9, 2018.

On February 16, 2019, Nattawut defeated Samy “AK47” Sana, 30, of France at “ONE: Clash of Legends.” The latter also won in the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix quarter-finals so they may have their rematch in the grand finals if they both win in the semi-finals.
