Fighting out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, United States, Devin “Brown Bear” Clark, 29, was one of the winners at “UFC Fight Night 153.” It was his third victory in the Ultimate Fighting Championship excluding his win over Josh “The Sandman” Stansbury, 34, of Las Vegas, Nevada, USA in the finale of “The Ultimate Fighter 24″ in 2016.

Featuring 12 mixed martial arts matches, “UFC Fight Night 153” took place at the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden on June 1, 2019. In the second bout of the evening, Clark fought Darko Stošić, 27, of Belgrade, Serbia in the light heavyweight division with Kevin Sataki as the referee.

In the first round, Clark hit Stošić with a left to the jaw and a spinning back fist. The Serbian contender redeemed himself in the second round with a slam and ground strikes but the Sioux Falls native owned the third round with a better activity level.

After three five-minute rounds, the light heavyweight bout was left in the hands of the three judges, who unanimously scored it 29-28. In the end, Sataki raised the hand of Clark, who was declared the winner via unanimous decision.

“We kind of just kept hitting each other back and forth,” Clark said after beating Stošić. “He used a lot more cage pressure than I thought he would, ended up being kind of a controlled battle and whoever landed big punches in between won the fight.”

Winning at “UFC Fight Night 153” improved Clark’s professional MMA record to 10 wins and 3 losses. On the other hand, Stošić now has 13 wins and 2 losses.

Stošić was the sixth opponent faced by Clark in the UFC octagon. The latter was one of the four fighters who represented the US at “UFC Fight Night 153.”

Born on April 12, 1990 in Sioux Falls, Clark started boxing when he was a kid and competed in wrestling in high school. As an MMA fighter, he has been competing professionally since 2013.

Clark joined the UFC in 2016. The first two opponents he defeated in the promotion were Jake “The Prototype” Collier, 30, of Cuba, Missouri, USA and Mike “Slow” Rodriguez, 30, of Massachusetts, USA.

“UFC Fight Night 153” marked Stošić’s second UFC bout. He solely represented Serbia in the event.

Including Serbia, the US and Sweden, 15 countries were represented at “UFC Fight Night 153.” The other countries were Austria, Brazil, Denmark, England, Finland, Germany, Italy, the Northern Mariana Islands, Russia, Scotland, South Korea and Spain.
