Ismail Iliev, 26, of Kara-Bulak, Russia was one of the winners at “LNK Fight Night 12.” Presented by Vadim Milov and Eugene Sapronenko, the combat sports event featured six boxing bouts, one kickboxing contest and three mixed martial arts matches.

World Kickboxing Network president Stephane Cabrera attended “LNK Fight Night 12,” which took place at the SemaraH Hotel Lielupe in Jurmala, Latvia on July 20, 2019. In the eighth bout of the evening, Iliev faced Twaha “Chumd Ga” Kiduku, 27, of Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania.

Kiduku and Iliev battled it out in a boxing contest in the super welterweight division. After 10 three-minute rounds, it was the Latvian boxer who was declared the winner.

Winning at “LNK Fight Night 12” improved the professional boxing record of Iliev to 12 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw. On the other hand, Kiduku now has 14 wins, 5 losses and 1 draw.

Including Russia and Tanzania, a total of 10 countries were represented at “LNK Fight Night 12.” The other countries represented were Czech Republic, Georgia, Italy, Latvia, Nicaragua, Peru, Poland and Spain.

Iliev was the only fighter who represented Russia at “LNK Fight Night 12.” Also, Kiduku solely represented Tanzania.

“LNK Fight Night 12” was held back to back with “Rise of Champions.” Also on July 20, 2019, the latter took place in Fraserburgh, Scotland where two WKN titles were contested.
