“MasterChef Brazil” judge Henrique Fogaça, 45, is one of the VIP guests at “Brave 24: London.” He is attending the invite-only mixed martial arts event to support former Brave Combat Federation Lightweight World Champion Lucas “Mineiro” Martins, 30, of Brazil.
Brave CF will hold “Brave 24: London” at the Copper Box Arena, inside the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, in London, England on July 25, 2019. In the main event, Martins will challenge reigning Brave CF Featherweight World Champion Bubba “Bad Man” Jenkins, 31, of California, United States.
The fighters from the groundbreaking event have started to descend upon London for the final preparations as fight week kicks off with tension and drama. Martins and Jenkins have passed by each other in the host hotel lobby in a moment full of tension captured by the Brave CF crew.
Jenkins was waiting by the elevator with his wife Ashley Jenkins when Martins and his teammates passed him by. The “Brave 24: London” headliners exchanged a quick glance but kept their composure.
However, after the impromptu meeting, Jenkins started trash-talking Martins. The American defending champion said he would be in contact with Fogaça so the Brazilian chef could cater his celebration afterparty in another stinging attack at the Brazilian challenger’s team.
“I want to know if his chef’s available for my celebration party,” Jenkins said. “I know he’s got a chef with him. I’m going to need someone to cook for me when I’m celebrating so I’m wondering if he’s available for my championship party, I’ll be sure to ask.”
“Brave 24: London” is set to connect the highest level of personalities across various fields to a world-class level of international MMA with the goal of empowering the sport and taking it to another level. Aside from Fogaça, Brazilian comedian and YouTube star Whindersson Nunes, 24, is also attending the event to cheer for Martins.
