Fresh from Taipei, Taiwan, Westlife will be in the Philippines on July 29-30, 2019 for “The Twenty Tour.” The reunion tour of the Irish pop vocal group kicked off at the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland on May 22, 2019.
The last time Westlife went on tour prior to “The Twenty Tour” was in 2012 with “Greatest Hits Tour.” From five, the boy band now has four members namely Shane Filan, 40, Markus Feehily, 39, Kian Egan, 39, and Nicky Byrne, 40.
For “The Twenty Tour,” Westlife will be in Bangkok, Thailand on July 24, 2019, in Macau, China on July 27, 2019 and Taipei on July 28, 2019. The Philippine leg of the reunion tour will take place at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
The reunion tour is expected to be nostalgic as Westlife will be performing their well-loved hits in Asia. Filan, Feehily, Egan and Byrne are definitely back and in full swing, ready to celebrate their 20th anniversary of hits with loyal fans in the Philippines.
Proof to the overwhelming love of Westlife’s supporters, “The Twenty Tour” is the group’s fastest selling tour of all time. The band sold an incredible 400,000 tickets in just 48 hours in the United Kingdom.
In less than a day, Westlife’s first show in Manila sold out. The shows will see Filan, Feehily, Egan and Byrne perform all of their 14 number one hits including “My Love,” “Uptown Girl,” “Mandy,””Swear It Again,” “Flying Without Wings,” “If I Let You Go,” “A World Of Our Own,” “Unbreakable” and “You Raised Me Up.”
Being the UK’s top selling album group of the 21st century, Westlife has returned with its highly anticipated first new single in eight years. Titled “Hello My Love,” the song is written and produced by superstar hitmarkers Ed Sheeran and Steve Mac.
