Brazilian mixed martial artist Cleiton “Predator” Silva, 33, will challenge reigning Brave CF Lightweight World Champion Luan “Miau” Santiago, 24, in the main event of “Brave 25” on August 30, 2019 in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The challenger is known for not taking his opponents lightly.

Silva has vowed to beat Santiago badly. The challenger wants not only to dethrone the defending champion but also to inflict as much pain as possible on his opponent, who happens to be his countryman.

“My goal at Brave CF is to snatch the belt away from ‘Miau,'” Silva shared. “I don’t want to just beat him. I want to make him cry in pain when we fight. The goal is to beat him up badly and stake my claim as the best lightweight in the Brave roster.”

With a professional MMA record of 14 wins and 2 losses, Silva knows the dangers of a fight against a fellow top striker. Half of his professional wins coming by way of knockout and he is confident in his own abilities to perform in front of his home fans.

A native of Belo Horizonte, Silva will have his family and friends in attendance on fight night. He said, “This is the time for me to really make my family and friends proud.”

“They were unsure of my profession but I proved them wrong when I signed for Brave and even though they were against me fighting professionally, they have always supported my choices,” Silva continued. “They realized I have what it takes to fight for a global promotion and Brave has been a blessing in my life. My victory will be dedicated to them, for their support and for realizing my potential.”

“Brave 25” will have 10 professional MMA bouts, with eight weight-classes represented. The cream of the crop of Brazilian fighters will be in action at fight night alongside some of the biggest international names in the Brave CF’s roster.
