Training out of Full House Estúdio de Artes Marciais in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, Cleiton “Predator” Silva, 33, is one of the Brazilian mixed martial artists competing at “Brave 25” on August 30, 2019. It marks his third bout in Brave Combat Federation.
Featuring 10 MMA bouts, “Brave 25” will take place at the Minas Tenis Clube Arena on Belo Horizonte. In the main event, Silva will challenge his countryman, reigning Brave CF Lightweight World Champion Luan “Miau” Santiago, 24.
“Training is like war at Full House, my gym,” Silva shared. “The tactics are done, and they’re very good but that can all change when I connect for the first time.”
Silva was irritated with the latest round of thrash talk with Santiago. The defending champion has previously said he was surprised to see Silva as his first title challenger.
For Santiago, Silva did not have what it takes to be a champion and even went as far as saying that it was going to put on a violent beatdown on the contender. The challenger has responded by claiming reigning Brave CF Lightweight World Champion is a runner and threatened the defending champion by saying he was out to hurt him.
“He will feel the weight of my hands and he’s going to regret saying some of the things he’s been saying,” Silva said of Santiago. “It’s hunting season for the Predator and Miau is my prey.”
What Silva expects is that the “Brave 25” main event is going to be a tough fight and he hopes Santiago is well-prepared. The challenger claims that he is in the best shape of his life and he wants to put on a show for the crowd.
“I just hope he doesn’t go in there and starts running like he often does,” the Full House Estúdio de Artes Marciais athlete said of Santiago. “Let’s get in the middle of that cage and throw bombs at each other, brother! Don’t run! I want to hurt you and I want to hurt you badly.”
