Chan has already fought in Morocco and Bahrain and will now have the chance to showcase his talents in the spiritual home of mixed martial arts. The Dutch fighter is over the moon at the prospect of fighting abroad once again.

“Brave CF has sent me all around the world and I’m very thankful for that,” Chan stated. “They have given me the chance to represent not just myself or my family but my country. I went to Morocco and Bahrain to represent Holland and now I’ll be going to Brazil to do the same so I’m very proud to be able to represent my country at the highest level.”

Chan hopes to add Mafra to his list of KOs and has a strong prediction for their bout. The former shared, “I like Leonardo’s style because he’s very aggressive.”

“The fans want to see this kind of fight,” Chan continued. “It will be very exciting. He has his strengths but I also know his flaws so when he makes a mistake, it will be over fast.”

“I predict a first-round KO but I also see the fight going to the second or third rounds,” the Dutch fighter added. “Either way, he’s going to sleep.”
