Felipe Silva, 35, of Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, Brazil will make his Brave Combat Federation debut on September 7, 2019 as he takes on Dumar “Corazon de Leon” Roa, 28, of Bogota, Colombia in the main event of “Brave 26.” The biggest Colombian mixed martial arts event will be hosted eight days after “Brave 25” where the Brazilian striker’s student Luan “Miau” Santiago, 24, of Curitiba, Parana, Brazil lost to Cleiton “Predator” Silva, 33, of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais in a stunning fashion.
“Brave 25” took place at the Arena Minas Tênis Clube in Belo Horizonte on August 30, 2019. In the main event, Cleiton dethroned Santiago as the Brave CF Lightweight World Champion.
Felipe was in Santiago’s corner for the main event of “Brave 25.” For Felipe, he has what it takes to avenge his student against the newly crowned Brave CF Lightweight World Champion.
Cleiton has allegedly talked about being interested in a fight with Felipe. In response, the latter said, “Let me send a message to this guy.”
“Cleiton ‘Predator,’ as soon as I’m done with this fight, you’re the guy I’m looking to fight,” Felipe said. “I know this is my first fight in the event but I have a lot of belief in my own potential to win at ‘Brave 26.’ I want to be among the top fighters at Brave CF and sooner or later, your head will roll.”
Moreover, Felipe gave a message to his “Brave 26” opponent. The Brazilian MMA fighter said, “I’d like to thank Dumar for taking the fight on short notice but I’m more than ready and I’m confident my hand will be raised.”
Taking place at the Coliseo Hernan Jaramillo, Salitre in Bogota, “Brave 26” will feature a mix of the top international fighters of Brave CF and the best Colombian MMA fighters. Here is a clip featuring the fighters on the card:
