Fighting in Abu Dhabi, UAE has been Brave CF champ Abdoul Abdouraguimov’s dream

Reigning Brave Combat Federation Welterweight World Champion Abdoul “The Conqueror” Abdouraguimov, 23, of France is set to defend his title for the first time. His title defense will be the main event of “Brave 27,” which will take place at the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on October 4, 2019.

“I’ve always dreamed of fighting in Abu Dhabi, for everything it represents,” Abdouraguimov stated. “Now that Brave CF has made this dream come true, I won’t waste the opportunity.”

Born in Russia but now based in France, Abdouraguimov is an undefeated mixed martial artist with a professional MMA record of 10 wins, 0 loss and 1 No Contest. “Brave 27” marks the first time he is competing in Abu Dhabi.

Situated on an island in the Persian Gulf off the central western coast, Abu Dhabi is the capital of the UAE. Among the tourists’ favorite destinations in the city are the the Qast Al Hosn, the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the Jebel Hafeet, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the Sir Bani Yas Island, the Zaya Nurai Island, the Mangroves Marina, the Emirates Palace, the Yas Marina Circuit, the Ferrari World, the Heritage Village, the Emirates Park Zoo and the Souk Central Market.

Competing professionally since 2016, Abdouraguimov competed in France, Switzerland, Spain and Belgium before joining Brave CF. He won first three bouts in the promotion in Morocco, Pakistan and Jordan.

On April 19, 2019, Abdouraguimov challenged the reigning Brave CF Welterweight World Champion Jarrah “The Jordanian Lion” Al-Selawe, 26, of Jordan “Brave 23” at the Martyr Rashid Al-Ziyoud Hall Boxing Arena in Amman, Jordan. The French-Russian challenger won via split decision.


Brave CF gave Al-Selawe a chance to redeem himself. He will challenge Abdouraguimov in the main event of “Brave 27.”

“I learned in the last fight that I must be meaner,” Abdouraguimov shared. “I can’t let my opponent survive when I dominate him and this is a lesson I will take to the cage on October 4th.”


Apart from the rematch between Abdouraguimov and Al-Selawe, “Brave 27” will feature several huge Arab MMA names as Brave CF continues to heat up the MMA scene in the region. Here is a teaser:
