The biggest rematch in Brave Combat Federation history reached a boiling point ahead of “Brave 27.” The rivalry between headliners Abdoul “The Conqueror” Abdouraguimov, 23, of France and  Jarrah “The Jordanian Lion” Al-Selawe, 26, of Jordan heated up during the ceremonial weigh-ins at the Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on October 3, 2019.

Abdouraguimov is the reigning Brave CF Welterweight World Champion while Al-Selawe is the former champion. During the ceremonial weigh-ins, they started a brawl in the stage, which was only ended when Brave CF president Mohammed “The Hawk” Shahid, 30, cage announcer Carlos Kremer and other staff members stepped in to separate both athletes.

Abdouraguimov stepped in with his belt to face off Al-Selawe. The two quickly exchanged words and started pushing each other.

Then, the defending champion went in for a takedown on his challenger. Both fighters got tangled up with Shahid and Kremer.

Staff and security got to the stage to defuse the situation but not before both Abdouraguimov and Al-Selawe connected with punches and swore at each other. Their rivalry stems from the first fight at “Brave 23,” which took place at the Martyr Rashid Al-Ziyoud Hall Boxing Arena in Amman, Jordan on April 19, 2019.

During the fight week for “Brave 23,” Abdouraguimov invaded Al-Selawe’s gym and the two men had a heated argument. At fight night, the Russian-French challenger ended up getting a split decision victory, maintaining his perfect record and handing the Jordanian defending champion his first loss at Brave CF.

Since the result of the fight was disputed by fans, an immediate rematch was scheduled and it goes down on October 4, 2019 at the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi. Watch the brawl between Abdouraguimov and Al-Selawe at the Yas Mall here:
