Leren Bautista, 26, of the Philippines almost won The Miss Globe 2019. On October 21, 2019, she was named the second runner-up of the latest edition of the international beauty pageant.

Including Bautista, 49 candidates from around the globe competed in The Miss Globe 2019. Hosted by Arjola Shehu and Sabrija Vulic featuring performances by Daniel Dann, Bella Meri and Fıratcan Dalmış, the coronation night took place at the Holiday Villages Montenegro in Ulcinj, Montegro and was broadcast live on RTCG Portal, RTK, MTV and RTSH Radio Televizioni Shqiptar.

It was Alejanda Diaz de Leon Soler of Mexico who was crowned The Miss Globe 2019. Carla Jean Lares of Trinidad and Tobago was runner-up to Diaz de Leon while Shauna Griffiths of Canada and Kristýna Malírová of Czech Republic were the respective third and fourth runners-up. 

Yu Yizhou of China won The Miss Globe 2018 in Tirana, Albania on October 21, 2018. The Philippines’ representative Michele Gumabao won two special awards namely Miss Social Media and Miss Dream Girl and finished in the Top 15.

The Philippines has two Miss Globe titleholders. Maricar Balagtas and Ann Colis were crowned in 2001 and 2015, respectively.

Hailing from Los Baños, Laguna, Philippines, Bautista earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing management from the Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba. She works as a model and is a part of Philippine Tapestry project of the Department of Tourism.

In 2015, Bautista was crowned Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia Pacific International. In the same year, she won Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International.

On June 9, 2019, the Los Baños native was crowned Binibining Pilipinas-Globe 2019. Here is her introduction video for The Miss Globe 2019:
