Francisco Gaudencio Lope Belardo Mañalac, 43, who is mononymously known as Bamboo, still spends time to perform live for his fans. The Prince of Philippine Rock is set to perform in Cebu City, Philippines for his “Bamboo: Una Mas” concert tour.
“Bamboo: Una Mas Cebu Edition 2019” will take place at the Waterfront Hotel and Casino Cebu City on November 23, 2019. Door opens at 6 p.m.
The concert is presented by startup live entertainment company Espicom Events. With extensive years of experience, the company has an expert team dedicated to live entertainment planning and implementation.
Espicom Production set “Bamboo: Una Mas Cebu Edition 2019” on stage with its intended beneficiary, Balay Silangan. The beneficiary is a community-based reformation program that aims to rehabilitate surrendered drug personalities in the Philippines, a program launched by the he Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in 2018.
Tickets now available at SM Tickets, Ticket world and at the lobby of the Waterfront Hotel and Casino Cebu City. The VIP ticket is 2,800 pesos and the gold ticket is 2,200 pesos.
The silver ticket is worth 1,800 pesos and the bronze ticket is priced at 1,100 pesos. The general patronage and balcony tickets are worth 800 pesos and 600 pesos, respectively.
Currently, Bamboo serves as one of the coaches in “The Voice Kids Philippines” Season 4 along with Lea Salonga, 48, and Sarah Geronimo, 31. The final episode of the current season of the singing competition show will air on ABS-CBN on November 3, 2019.
Having one of the most recognizable and formidable singing voices in the Philippines, Bamboo is like a well-oiled machine. Apparently, he has no plans of slowing down just yet.
Born on March 21, 1976 in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines, Bamboo was 10 years old when he and his family moved to San Francisco, California, United States. He eventually returned to the Philippines and served as the frontman of Rivermaya from 1994 to 1998.
After leaving Rivermaya, Bamboo returned to the U.S. to finish his education. In 2002, he returned to the Philippines and served as the frontman of Bamboo from 2003 to 2011.
In November 2011, Bamboo started his career as a solo artist. PolyEast Records released his debut album titled “No Water, No Moon,” which consists 12 songs.
