Edmen “The Golden Boy” Shahbazyan, 21, was one of the winners at “UFC 244.” It was the undefeated mixed martial artist’s third victory in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Featuring 12 MMA bouts, the UFC held “UFC 244” at the Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York, USA on November 2, 2019. In the fifth bout of the evening, Shahbazyan competed in the middleweight division against Bradley Tavares, 31, of Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
“Brad was the biggest test of my career,” Shahbazyan said in his post-fight interview. “But, you know, I’m the new breed of MMA. I’m coming for that belt man.”
“I want to be the youngest champion ever,” the Glendale native continued. “It’s all about me staying in the gym and continuing to grow and evolve as a fighter.
