John Brewin, Maciej Gierszewski

All “BRAVE CF 28” fighters successfully made weight and are ready to move on to fight night on November 4, 2019. The headliners John “Trouble” Brewin, 24, of Auckland, New Zealand and Maciej “MagicMan” Gierzewski, 32, of Lebork, Poland will compete in the lightweight division.

When asked what fans could expect from fight night, both Brewin and Gierszewski were eager to point out they were expecting a war. Both said they were hoping to put on a show for the Romanian crowd.

In the co-main event, Pawel Kielek, 23, of Olsztyn, Poland and Benoit “God of War” St. Denis, 23, of Paris, France kept things friendly during their staredown but the same cannot be said of Nikolay “Slick Nick” Grozdev, 22, of Dublin, Ireland and Issei “Silent Sniper” Moriyama, 22, of Konan, Yokohama, Japan. The Moldovan-Irish contender went right into his Japanese opponent’s face and mouthed some trash talk.

Originally from Moldova, Grozdev trains at Straight Blast Gym Ireland in Dublin. One of his teammates is UFC fighter Conor “The Notorious” McGregor, 31, of Dublin.

Taking place in Bucharest, Romania with nine professional mixed martial arts matches, “BRAVE CF 28” will be held with “RXF 36” of Romania-based MMA promotion Real Xtreme Fighting simultaneously. It marks BRAVE Combat Federation’s third event in Europe and debut not only in Romania but also in the entire Eastern Europe.
