Kim Kyu Sung, 27, of South Korea has earned his first ONE Championship victory. The Korean mixed martial artist was one of the winners at “ONE: Masters of Fate.”
Featuring 10 MMA matches and three Muay Thai contests, ONE Championship held “ONE: Masters of Fate” at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on November 8, 2019. In the second bout of the evening, Kim fought Akihiro “Superjap” Fujisawa, 40, of Japan in an MMA match in the flyweight division with Kemp Cheng as the referee.
Kim bounced back in spectacular fashion with a quick knockout win over Fujisawa, who was a ONE Warrior Series contract winner. The South Korean contender needed only 68 seconds to stop his Japanese opponent, after landing a well-placed right uppercut to earn the highlight reel finish.
Winning at “ONE: Masters of Fate” improved the professional MMA record of Kim to 10 wins and 3 losses. On the other hand, Fujisawa now has 5 wins and 3 losses.
