Inner Mongolia, China’s Hexigetu earns 2nd ONE Championship win, decisions Ramon Gonzales at ‘ONE: Age of Dragons’ in Beijing



“Wolf of the Grasslands” Hexigetu, 30, of Horqin, Inner Mongolia, China was one of the winners at “ONE: Age of Dragons.” It was his second victory in ONE Championship.

Featuring five MMA matches, four kickboxing contents and two Muay Thai bouts, ONE Championship held “ONE: Age of Dragons” at the Cadillac Arena in Beijing, China on November 16, 2019. In the first bout of the evening, Hexigetu competed in an MMA match in the strawweight division against Ramon “The Bicolano” Gonzales, 31, of Albay, Philippines.

Motohiro Tsuruwa served as the referee. After three five-minute rounds, the strawweight contest was left in the hands of the judges.

In the end, Tsuruwa raised the hand of Hexigetu. The Inner Mongolia native was declared the winner via unanimous decision.

Including China and the Philippines, 13 countries were represented at “ONE: Age of Dragons.” The others were Argentina, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Morocco, the Netherlands, Russia, South Korea, Thailand and Ukraine.

Hexigetu was one of the five fighters who represented China. He is representing China Top Team.

Gonzales was one of the three representatives of the Philippines. He is training out of Kyokushin Fight Academy and International Karate Alliance Kyokushinryu.

The first opponent Hexigetu defeated in ONE Championship was Ovais Shah. Watch all the “ONE: Age of Dragons” bouts here:
