Stephen “The Sniper” Loman, 23, of the Philippines is still BRAVE Combat Federation’s reigning champion in the bantamweight division. Training out of Team Lakay in La Trinidad, Benguet, Philippines, the Igorot mixed martial artist successfully defended his belt at “BRAVE CF 30.”

Featuring 13 MMA bouts, BRAVE CF held “BRAVE CF 30″ at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad, Telangana, India on November 30, 2019 with Carlos Kremer as the cage announcer. In the main event, Loman defended his belt from Louie “Leonidas” Sanoudakis, 30, of Canada.

After five five-minute rounds, the title bout was left in the hands of the three judges. In the end, the referee raised the hand of Loman, who was declared the winner via unanimous decision.

“I would like to thank everyone who has helped me,” Loman said in his post-fight interview. “To Indian fans, I love you.”

“My coaches, training partners, family and friends and to BRAVE CF for allowing me to do what I do,” the Team Lakay representative continued. “Right now, I have a lot of people to fight still, maybe one day.”

Winning at “BRAVE CF 30” improved the professional MMA record of Loman to 14 wins and 2 losses. On the other hand, Sanoudakis now has 8 wins and 2 losses.

BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid was present during the event. Loman was accompanied by his father Roldan Loman and Team Lakay teammate Jeremy “The Juggernaut” Pacatiw, 23, who is also competing in the bantamweight division of the promotion.

Stephen now has four successful title defenses as the reigning BRAVE CF Bantamweight World Champion. The Igorot MMA fighter is undefeated in BRAVE CF and is still the longest reigning champion of the Bahrain-based MMA promotion.
