Team Lakay’s Harold Banario vs KHK MMA’s Gamzat Magomedov at ‘BRAVE CF 33’ in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

A bout between Harold “The Artist” Banario, 24, of the Philippines and Gamzat Magomedov, 24, of Russia has been booked for “BRAVE CF 33.” The Filipino mixed martial artist is representing Team Lakay of La Trinidad, Benguet, Philippines while his Russian opponent is training out of Khalid Bin Hamad Al Khalifa Mixed Martial Arts (KHK MMA) in Manama, Bahrain.

BRAVE Combat Federation will hold “BRAVE CF 33” at the Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium Sports Hall in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on December 27, 2019. There are nine MMA bouts in the fight card.

Banario and Magomedov’s match is the first bout of the evening. They will battle it out in the bantamweight division.

“BRAVE CF 33” is the second BRAVE CF event to take place in Saudi Arabia. There will be 15 countries represented namely Belgium, Brazil, Egypt, England, France, Iraq, Ireland, Jordan, Lebanon, Pakistan, the Philippines, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Sweden and Trinidad and Tobago.

Banario is one of the two athletes representing the Philippines. “BRAVE CF 33” marks his second outing in BRAVE CF.

When BRAVE CF made its Philippine debut at “BRAVE 22: Storm of Warriors” at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on March 15, 2019, Banario also made his debut in the promotion. He submitted Ariel “The Lady Boxer” Oliveros, 24, of Ormoc, Leyte, Philippines in the bantamweight division.

Beating Oliveros at “BRAVE 22: Storm of Warriors” improved the professional MMA record of Banario to 5 wins and 1 loss. On the other hand, Magomedov currently has 4 wins and 1 loss.

Magomedov is one of the three representatives of Russia at “BRAVE CF 32.” It will be his fourth bout in BRAVE CF.

The third BRAVE CF bout of Magomedov was at “BRAVE 24: London” at the Copper Box Arena in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, England on July 25, 2019. He defeated Ian “Concrete” Cleary, 33, of Ireland in the bantamweight division via unanimous decision.
