Two Igorot mixed martial artists will represent the Philippines at “BRAVE CF 33” in Saudi Arabia on December 27, 2019. They are Jeremy “The Juggernaut” Pacatiw, 23, and Harold “The Artist” Banario, 24, who are both training at Team Lakay in La Trinidad, Benguet, Philippines.
BRAVE Combat Federation will hold “BRAVE CF 33” at the Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium Sports Hall in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on December 27, 2019. There are 12 MMA bouts on the fight card.
In the first bout of the evening, Banario will face Gamzat Magomedov, 24, of Russia in the bantamweight division. The latter is training out of Khalid Bin Hamad Al Khalifa Mixed Martial Arts (KHK MMA) in Manama, Bahrain.
“BRAVE CF 33” is the second BRAVE CF event to take place in Saudi Arabia. It marks Banario’s second bout in the Bahrain-based MMA promotion.
On the other hand, Pacatiw is the MMA fighter with the most bouts in BRAVE CF. He has nine previous bouts in the promotion making “BRAVE CF 33” his 10th.
In the 10th bout of the evening, Pacatiw will battle it out with Felipe Efrain, 25, of Sao Paulo, Brazil. It will be another bantamweight contest.
Currently reigning as the BRAVE CF Bantamweight World Champion Stephen “The Sniper” Loman, 23, of the Philippines. He is also training out of Team Lakay, which was founded by its current head coach Mark “The Machine” Sangiao.
Loman holds a professional MMA record of 14 wins and 2 losses and is the longest running BRAVE CF champion. Pacatiw has 9 wins and 4 losses while Banario has 5 wins and 1 loss.
Including the Philippines, Russia and Brazil, 15 countries will be represented at “BRAVE CF 33.” The others are Belgium, Egypt, England, France, Iraq, Ireland, Jordan, Lebanon, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sweden and Trinidad and Tobago.
