Celebrity tweets on Julian Castro ending his presidential bid

Julián Castro is ending his campaign for president. The former United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development made the announcement on January 2, 2020.

After the exit of Castro, the Democratic primary field no longer has a Latino candidate. He stated, “I’ve determined that it simply isn’t our time.”


Castro was born on September 16,1974 in San Antonio, Texas, USA. He is the identical twin brother of Joaquin Castro, member of the U.S. House of Representatives from the 20th district of Texas.
