Celebrity tweets on Kobe Bryant’s passing from 13 MMA fighters

National Basketball Association legend Kobe Bean Bryant, 41, and his daughter Gianna Maria-Onore Bryant, 13, died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, Los Angeles, California, United States on January 26, 2020. They were on their way to the basketball practice of the latter in the Mamba Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks, California.

Several mixed martial artists took to Twitter to pay tribute to Kobe. Among them were UFC fighters Patrick “The Predator” Côté, 39, of Canada, Chris “All-American” Weidman, 35, of New York, USA, Kelvin “Osito” Gastelum, 28, of Arizona, USA, Alan “Brahma” Jouban, 38, of Los Angeles, Frankie “The Answer” Edgar, 38, of New Jersey, USA, Kevin Luke “Cub” Swanson, 36, of California, Alistair “The Demolition Man” Overeem, 39, of the Netherlands, Jorge “Gamebred” Masvidal, 35, of Florida, Max “Blessed” Holloway, 28, of Hawaii, USA and reigning UFC Middleweight Champion Israel “The Last Stylebender” Adesanya, 30, of New Zealand.
