It will be nearly a year since a vicious knockout put the entire middleweight division on notice but Hashem “Cavaca” Arkhagha, 30, of Jordan is ready for his much-anticipated return to the BRAVE Combat Federation fold. On April 18, 2020, the undefeated mixed martial artist will look to build on from his victory over Jeremy “Pitbull” Smith, 34, of South Africa as he takes on Diego “The Silencer” Gonzalez, 35, of Sweden on the main card of “BRAVE CF 37,” which takes place in Stockholm, Sweden in partnership with AK Fighting Championships.
Arkhagha ended a six-year-long hiatus to return to fighting as he made his BRAVE CF debut in front of his crowd at “BRAVE CF 23.” The Jordanian fans were treated to one of the most breathtaking knockouts of the year, as he face-planted Smith in the first round with a perfectly placed uppercut.
The stunning result meant Arkhagha maintained his undefeated status improving to 5 wins and 0 look and will now look to build himself towards a title shot against a much more experienced opponent. On the other hand, Gonzalez is coming off a third-round loss against Ikram Aliskerov, 27, of Russia.
Gonzalez showed tremendous heart and was praised by Aliskerov himself. The Swedish has 35 professional bouts to his name and is looking for his first BRAVE CF victory against Arkhagha.
“BRAVE CF 37” will be headlined by a monumental title fight. Undefeated MMA fighter Khamzat “Borz” Chimaev, 25, of Sweden will challenge reigning BRAVE Combat Federation Welterweight Champion Jarrah “The Jordanian Lion” Al-Selawe, 26, of Jordan.
